The Promise (Print)

"The Promise"

Genesis 3:15

Before there was a cross, there was a promise.

In the garden, when sin entered the world, God spoke of what was to come.

The serpent would strike His heel.

But his head would be crushed.

God made the promise in Eden.

Generations passed.
Kingdoms rose and fell.
Prophets came and went.
Humanity waited.

Then came the cross.

The Shepherd was struck.

But Calvary was not the end of God’s promise.

It was its fulfillment.

The serpent had struck His heel.

The Shepherd had crushed his head.

God had kept His word.

The promise made in Eden found its fulfillment on the cross.

And the Shepherd walked on
