Remain (original)

"Remain"

Today, the cross symbolizes victory.

But at that moment, did it seem like crushing defeat?

Mary stayed.

John stayed.

Many didn’t.

No crown to behold.

No throne in sight.

What kept those who remained?

Love doesn’t require understanding.

Sometimes…

Love simply stays.
